Cities testing footprint tool

The ecoCity Footprint Tool was used to create the City of Vancouver’s ecological footprint and consumption-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory, and has informed its ambitious “Greenest City 2020 Action Plan”. Cities in Canada, the United States and beyond have also piloted the tool, with promising results. Among them are the City of Vancouver, BC, City of North Vancouver, City of Victoria, BC, District of Saanich, BC and Iowa City, Iowa
